CLARK, Pampanga—Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) President Vivencio B. Dizon has assured that there will be no more delays on the auction for the operations and maintenance (O&M) of the Clark International Airport.

This comes after the agency announced the rescheduling of the bidding for the O&M for the Clark airport to Friday. It was originally scheduled on Monday, November 5.

Bids will be opened on the same day.

“There was the matter of fixing the bid documents, so we moved the submission to Friday. I promise, there will be no more extensions,” Dizon said in Filipino.  He did not elaborate, explaining that the details are “with the bids and awards committee.”

Under the P5.61-billion deal, the winning bidder will take over the “operations and maintenance of the existing and the proposed new passenger terminal buildings.”
